HOLIDAY REMINDER 

Holiday Reminder 

We would like to remind our families that, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Onslow County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 15.

PARENT ACADEMY 

Parent Academy Information 

On January 18 and January 25, families will have the opportunity to learn about recent changes to FAFSA and get assistance with filling out their FAFSA information. The January 18 session will be held in Jacksonville on the OCS Central Services campus, and the January 25 session will be held at Swansboro High.

BOE MEETING JANUARY 17 

The regular Onslow County Board of Education meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 9, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 17.  

The January 17 meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Eastern North Carolina Regional Skills Center, located at 261 Northwest Corridor Blvd. Agenda items include an Instructional Services Update. 

A sign-up sheet will be available in the Skills Center lobby for those wishing to address the board.  

In accordance with Board Policy 2335 – Advance Delivery of Meeting Materials, Board materials will be available online as soon as possible at http://www.boarddocs.com/nc/onslow/Board.nsf
