ABOUT ME:

I have been in education for 25 years now, 20 years working as a middle school math teacher.  I have worked in North Carolina, for my entire career in Bladen, Brunswick, Duplin, Franklin, and Onslow counties.  Not only have I worked in multiple counties, but I have also worked in multiple school districts and schools of varying types.  I love to learn and love to teach.  My passion is to serve students of various backgrounds and learning styles and help them to enjoy learning math and science.

I want my students to succeed.  When they succeed, then I succeed.  I want to help them to become prepared for anything they might face in life and be able to face it with dignity, intelligence, and a toolbox of methods they can use to turn any problem into possibilities.  If I can provide any extra help to ensure that this happens, please email me at the email address listed above.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with family (my husband, my five furbabies, my parents, and my extended family, church family and friends).  I enjoy singing and performing and anything outdoors.
