Hello! My name is Ms. Matt and I am glad to be a part of the first grade team!

A little bit about me: I grew up as a military child which meant a lot of moving. I have lived in North Carolina for six years now. I currently have a kitten named Toby Douglas and a dog named Lucky. I went to college at UNCW and graduated with my bachelor's degree in elementary education. I started working at Morton Elementary as a full time sub in January of 2021. In Febraury, I started teaching first grade at Morton Elementary and have loved it!

Degrees and Certifications: I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a teaching licenses for grades K-6.
