Hello, my name is Ms. Mitchell and I will be your student's first grade teacher!

To share a little bit about me; I grew up in Richlands, North Carolina. I completed my undergrad at East Carolina University (Go Pirates) with my Bachelor's of Science and I received my Master's in Teaching at UNCW. (Go Hawks!)

This will be my first year teaching and I am so excited to spend it here at Morton.

Hobbies: I love to travel, play video games, dance, and spend time with family and friends!

Teaching Philosphy: I want to build relationships with my student's and making sure every student feels accepted and welcomed in my classroom. My classroom is a family and student's should have access to resources that will benefit them in their educational journey as well as life journey. Looking forward to an amazing school year. :)
