Mrs. Caroline Orsillo

As an Army Brat, I spent much of my youth bouncing about the US.  I married my college sweetheart, and after his retirement from the City of Charlotte - where we lived and raised 2 daughters for 30 years, we decided to become "Beach Bums" and move to the coast.   Topsail Island/ Sneads Ferry is now home -after vacationing here for the past 28 years.  My past teaching life saw me as a PE and Health Education teacher for 18 years at a large private school in Charlotte.   Moving to the beach, I knew that I needed to fill non beach hours still working with students, but in a lesser time commitment capacity.   Being a tutor to the ESL population of students has been a great blessing - the students are rich with culture and eager to learn.  It is a perfect balance for me.

One daughter lives in Sneads Ferry and works at Southwest Middle School, and the other daughter is an Airman in the US Navy.  

When away from school, I go to the beach, fish from our boat, enjoy Trivia Nights with neighbor friends, and travel.   The goal is to eventually spend time in a tropical, palm tree filled locale.
