Biography:

I am a native of North Carolina. I attended Morton Elementary School, Tablernacle Middle School, graduated from White Oak High School and UNCW all right here in North Carolina. We moved out of North Carolina with the Air Force for 3 years and lived in Guam, but as soon as my husband got out of the Air Force we came back home!! I have a wonderful husband -Randy of 29 years (we were high school sweethearts), two grown children, Paige and Ty, a son-in-law Max, a daughter in law Faith and two granddaughters, Hadley and Holland. They are pure sugar. :)I also have a spoiled rotten Shih Tzu named Winston.  I am an avid Carolina Basketball fan (GO HEELS!), love hazelnut coffee, ribeye steaks :) and chocolate cake :). I am a member of Kellum Baptist Church and am active with my church family. I love my job and all the children I meet.

Eduation:

I have been in the education field for 24 years. I spent the first 7 years as a Teacher Assistant at Jacksonville Commons Elementary and Carolina Forest International Elementary Schools while finishing my Elementary Education Degree. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. My first three years of teaching, I taught 1st grade. I decided to embark on a new adventure and move to Kindergarten several :) years ago and I have absolutely loved it! I am excited about beginning a new year and cannot wait for it to begin.
