Mrs. Jerika Koufie

Hello! My name is Jerika Koufie and I am the School Social Worker at Morton Elementary and Hunterscreeks Elementary for our 2022-2023 school year. This is my second year as a School Social Worker and I am so excited to finally be a part of the school system. I have worked with children & families for over 9 years and served Onslow families directly for 4 years. I am knowledgeable about our community and the resources there are to offer. My goal is to ensure every child has their well-being, safety and emotional needs met so they can be their most successful self at school. 

Children Healthy Eating on Weekends (CHEW) is a FREE program to all Onslow County students (including OVS students) that are in need of extra support due to food insecurity. Please fill out the form and return to me via email or by dropping off to the front desk at Morton Elementary School if your student needs some extra food assistance on the weekends.  CHEW Consent Form
