Ms. Trish Gregory

Welcome to 2nd Grade!

We have a wonderful 2nd grade team at Dixon Elementary School! I am enjoying our 2023-2024 school year. 

Instruction will be cooperative learning and interactive activities, because I believe children learn best when they are engaged and excited about the curriculum. We study math, phonics, reading, content knowledge, and science in fun, creative ways to encourage academic development. We will have music, storytime, independent and partner reading, and plenty of movement breaks to keep our active bodies and active minds engaged.

I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and American Intercontinental University with a Master's Degree in Education.  I have taught preK, kindergarten, and first grade over the past ten years in both private and public schools. The 23-24 school year is my second year teaching 2nd grade at DES. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
