    I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend!  We have only 2 days of school this week! 
     
    It has been a wonderful year working with you and your child. I am so proud of each student and the growth that they have shown this school year. 
     
    If you will not be returning to Carolina Forest for next school year, please let us know as we are in the process of planning classes for next school year. Click on the link below to complete the form.

    Important Upcoming Dates:
    June 10th Second grade awards at 10:30am (I have emailed parents of the students that are receiving awards) Please take note of the time change!
    June 11th Our class lunch/celebration (students will not need a lunch on this day) We will be having hot dogs, chips, and soda along with a sweet treat. (If you or your child does not want to participate in this I need to know and they will need to bring a lunch)
                    Last Day of School
                    Report Cards go home
     
    If you do not attend school on June 11th, you will need to come by and pick up your report card OR it will be forwarded with school records if you are moving. If you owe school fees, library book fees, laptop/charger fees you WILL NOT be able to pickup your child's report card until those are taken care of.

  • DRESS CODE (students)

     

    The dress and appearance of students has a significant effect upon conduct and behavior while at school. It is expected that students will be dressed and groomed appropriately for the age group of the individual. Carolina Forest International Elementary School, in accordance to OCS Board Policy has adopted the following dress code guidelines:

    * No hats inside of building.

    * Appropriate shoes should be worn for safety reasons keeping in mind students have daily recess and physical activity. Flip flops are not safe footwear and should not be worn. Shoes should have a heel strap.

    * No brief or revealing attire. Shorts, skirts, and skorts must be appropriate length (generally fingertip length). Baggy pants/shorts are not permitted. A jacket or shirt should be worn over/under tank tops and spaghetti strap shirts/dresses.

    * Clothing that encourages the use of tobacco, alcohol or other drugs, or contains the use of profanity is not permitted.

  • Cafeteria Meal Prices

    • ALL Student Lunch meals must contain a fruit or vegetable choice to count as a meal. Adults can purchase meals at a-la-carte pricing. 

      Breakfast 

      • Student-full-paying:   $1.25
      • Adult: all items are priced al-a-carte

      Lunch

      • Student-full-paying:   $2.50
      • Adult: all items are priced al-a-carte
    • Students who bring meals from home may purchase milk at the a-la-carte price of $0.50.  Milk is included as a meal component for all pay statuses.
