About Me

My name is Miss Walter! I moved to North Carolina from upstate New York a few years ago! I wanted to experience the beach life for a bit and get away from the snow! While in New York, I attended college at the State University of New York at Oneonta. There I received a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in dance. I absolutely love working with children, it is definitely my passion! I also teach swimming lessons for the YMCA. In my free time I love to go to the beach, drive my Jeep, travel, and read books! I also enjoy spending time with my family and our family dog Jasmine!

 My philosophy in the classroom is that students should feel safe and warm! We are a community and family in this room! My goal is to create leaders in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom. My expectations for all students is that they work hard and come to school ready to learn!

We will have so many fun learning experiences in the classroom!
