JCMS Cheerleading

Tryouts for the 2023-2024 school year will begin on May 22-25, 2023. Tryouts will be in the gym after school until 4:30pm. Any student wishing to tryout must do the following before they're able to step on the mats.
1. Be passing 3 out of 4 core classes and 1 elective class this semester.
2. Turn in a sports physical to coach Staup. The form can be found in the front office.
3. Turn in a parental permission form for athletics to coach Staup, found in the front office.
4. Attend the mandatory athletics meeting on April 18th at 6:30pm in the gym. This is a requirement for all students wishing to tryout for sports for the 2023-2024 school year.
Please note: students will find out if they made the cheer team on May 26th at 3:30. For any student that makes the team, there will be a mandatory parent meeting on May 30th at 5pm in the gym.
