Hello! My name is Katie Suhody and I am one of the fourth grade teachers at Jacksonsville Commons Elementary.  I am one of the departmentalized classrooms and teach only math and science between two homerooms. This is my fourth year teaching and my second year at JCE.  I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but moved to North Carolina two years ago. Growing up I attended a public school in Pittsburgh.  In May 2013 I graduated with a BA in Spanish from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). However, I realized what I was really passionate about was teaching.  So, upon graduation, I went back to earn my Masters of Science in Early Childhood Education from Duquesne University in May 2016.
