Welcome to Blue Creek Elementary’s Battle of the Books! We are so excited this year to compete in this wonderful program that allows our students to come together and demonstrate their knowledge and love for literacy!  This program is offered to our fabulous fourth and fifth grade students, and will take place over the course of several months with signups and tryouts beginning in September and the final competition scheduled in March.  This reading program is designed to promote a love of reading and encourages the participants to explore a variety of literary genres with lots of fun integrated along the way!  If you think you may be interested in joining our AMAZING team this year, please see Ms. Hawthorne in the library to obtain more information!
