Each Spring, one third grader will represent our school at the Onslow County Schools 3rd Grade Multiplication Bee.
Students who excel in advanced multiplication of up to 4 digit by 4 digit problems will participate in mini-competitions to see who will win and represent our school. During this competition, students solve Kahoot style quizes as well as written computations using either traditional multiplication algorithms, place value grids or lattice strategies.
An emphasis is placed on accuracy and speed.
