The JCMS Writing Club provides students to meet in an informal setting to discuss writing ideas, workout the mechanics of their writing, and explore conventions of grammar and writing.  However, the sructure of the interaction with students is process driven, which allows each participant to obtain from the group what he or she needs or wants.  Students are not pressured to share their ideas or work with the group.  If they just need a quiet place to think and write during the 3:15 to 4:00 P. M. Tuesday meeting, the JCMS Writing Club is an ideal venue for that.
