Dear Parents, Students, Families and Community of Dixon Elementary School,

Welcome to Dixon Elementary School and the 2021-22 school year!  It is truly an honor to be a member of the Dixon Elementary School family and community. Dixon Elementary has a rich history of academic excellence and community support and I am excited to continue those traditions with our Bulldogs!

I have been a proud resident of Onslow County for many years.  I have a wonderful family-three members that are products of the Onslow County School System.  I have an amazing husband, Mark Bulris, who is the Executive Director of Elementary Education for Onslow County Schools.  We have two wonderful children, Maddox and McKenzie.  Our daughter, Maddox, is a 2017 graduate of Southwest High School and a 2021 graduate of Western Carolina University.  Our son, McKenzie, is a 2021 graduate of Southwest High School and is attending UNC-Chapel Hill as a member of the Class of 2025.  I am a graduate of the Columbus County School System and a proud alumnus of East Carolina University (Go Pirates!). Outside of my school time, I enjoy traveling, watching sports, photography, and spending time with family.

At Dixon Elementary, we take great pride in our students as we work together as a community to grow all leaders in leadership skills and global competencies.  Dixon Elementary School embodies these principles each day.  As a result of the work and collaboration of students, staff, and community, Dixon Elementary has been designated as a Covey Lighthouse School and a NC Global Ready School.  As our school mission says:
