Magnet Schools

    For information about the NEW online application and lottery process,

    If you are interested in your student attending New Bridge Middle, Clyde Erwin Elementary,
    Northwoods Elementary or a Dual Language Immersion program,
    please come to one of the following information sessions!

    Clyde Erwin Elementary Magnet School of International Studies and Cultural Arts 
    Grades K-5

    Please note that at Clyde Erwin Elementary Magnet (CEEM) there are two options. Some lottery slots are available in Spanish Language Immersion Classrooms and there are some slots available in traditional classroom settings. An applicant may put their child's name in the lottery for a Spanish Language Immersion slot, a traditional slot, or both.
    CEEM follows a year-round calendar.

    Grades K-5

    The focus of Northwoods Elementary Magnet School (NWEM) is on using a variety of technology to engage in Project Based Learning.  Please note that NWEM follows a year-round calendar.

    For students in grades 6-8 at New Bridge Middle School (NBM), there is a focus on STEAM content and skills.  STEAM emphasizes science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.  Please note that NBM follows a traditional calendar.

    Magnet School applications will become available on
    February 11th, 2019 and will remain available until March 1, 2019.

    The lottery selection process will be run at 10:00 am on March 4th.  

    OCS will announce Dual Language Immersion/lottery selection at a later date.
