    I have been at Swansboro High for over 5 years and teaching for over ten.

     I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Certified in CPR.  Teaching Certificate received from NC State.  I have had certifications in Legal Nurse Consulting, Pharmacy Technician, and being an EMT.

About ME !

  •       I have 20 years as a practicing RN in multiple states.  My main specialty in Nursing was pediatrics,  but I have worked in Medical/Surgical, Oncology, and Maternal Child Health.  I was a volunteer EMT for 5 years.  I have worked in doctor's offices, general county hospitals, and teaching facilities.  While working as a RN, I spent time teaching patients, family members, student nurses, and residents.

       I am a proud USMC wife that has had the pleasure of having the chance to travel a lot.  The moving has given me a chance to work in multiple settings.  I have 2 beautiful daughters who both are Swansboro High Alumni. 

      My husband and I are sports fans. We enjoy college and professional football, hockey, and Nascar.
