Ms. Nicole Petrock

I initially started at the University of Central Florida with an interest in Nursing AND Elementary Education. (What can I say, I really want to do it all!) Once I moved to California, I enrolled and graduated from Chapman University in 2004 with a BA in Social Science - the emphasis on Sociology and History. 

I started at Southwest Middle School in the 2005-2006 school year teaching 8th Grade Social Studies and running the Plato Lab. I have bounced between seventh, eighth and ninth grade over the last few years.  This is my 18th school year teaching Social Studies and I am honored to continue to be a member of the Southwest family.  I absolutely love my colleagues and enjoy my time at school, especially bringing history to the present and making the kids laugh while I do it!
