Associates in Science Bachelors in Science Masters in the art of Teaching AP Environmental certified AVID Teacher
Ms. Hudgins is from the Jacksonville area and a graduate of White Oak High School. After high school, she obtained her Associates in Science from Coastal Carolina Community College, then transferred to UNC Pembroke where she earned her Bachelor's of Science in Biology, specializing in Zoology and Environmental Science. For two years she worked as a wildlife technician for Croatan National Forest. Following that, she worked as a wildlife technician for Virginia Tech University at Camp Lejeune. For those nine years, she worked with the endangered Red Cockaded Woodpecker: monitoring, banding nestlings, censusing adults, and creating habitat. In 2016, she graduated from UNC Wilmington with a Master's in the Art of Teaching Science. That following August she began work at Jacksonville High School teaching sciences.
