Mr. Hunter Staup

I grew up in the Jacksonville area, attending Jacksonville High School before heading off to ECU where I obtained my bachelors degree in physical education.  Sports have been my life, whether it is watching, coaching, or playing.  I am a huge Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics fan as I was born near Boston.  The 2022-2023 school year will be my 7th year as a teacher, all being at Jacksonville Commons. I student taught at Wintergreen Elementary in Greenville.  I am the Athletic Director and I coach boys' soccer and girls' basketball. I am looking forward to a great school year and successful sports seasons. Go Knights!
