Mrs. Dedra Adams

Hey!!!   I'm Dedra Adams and a native of Jacksonville, NC.  My husband and I have three wonderful young adults and five busy grandchildren.  I enjoy traveling, grilling, and relaxing at the beach during my time away from teaching. My hobbies are listening to music, singing, and spending time with family and friends.

My classroom family changes each year. We will learn a lot from and about each other this year to become stronger as people, as family. I've taught privately for eleven years and publicly for Onslow County School Systems for eighteen years.  I have a BS in Elementary Education and I'm certified to teach Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Having served as a director of a childcare facility has allowed me to work with children from birth to 12 years old. I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, Third, and Fourth grades thus far.  This school year I will be teaching Kindergarten and looking forward to a great school year! I'm excited each year about serving the new students that will be enrolled and we will have fun while learning each day.
