Ms. Patti Berry

2023-2024  will be year 12 for me, teaching in Onslow County and at Southwest Elementary. I have taught 4th, 3rd, 2nd and this is year 5 in kindergarten.

I Received my BS in Elementary Education from UNCW, May 11, 2012 as well as a concentration in Behavioral Studies. I also have an AA in general arts from Coastal Carolina Community College and I am certified in Middle School Language Arts for grades 6-9. I received my Masters from East Carolina University in Instructional Technology in July 2019.

I have lived in North Carolina since 1987. I graduated from Southwest High School in 1992. My daughter also graduated from Southwest High School and works here in Onslow County as a Teacher's Assistant and is currently attending classes to become a special education teacher. I love this area and our Southwest schools.

I am super excited about teaching your child this year! This year will be new in so many different ways. Not only is this your child's first year in school, but there will be new ways of learning and teaching as we progress through the year, but I know that SWES is an amazing school with amazing people, so we will make this a fabulous year for your child!
