Education:  I graduated with my Elementary Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington 

Professional Mission Statement:  As a kindergarten teacher, I will create a positive environment for every child who walks into my classroom.  I will enhance the strengths of each child and motivate them to cultivate new strategies to improve in all areas.  My perfect world is a place where every child is recognized for the gifts he/she brings to our classroom.

Bio:  I am starting my 30th year of teaching.  I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade.  I have also held other instructional positions.  Kindergarten is my favorite grade to teach.

I live in Richlands. I have raised my family here and now I have grandchildren who live here and are attending the Richlands schools. I have one fur baby that I spoil!
