Mrs. Laney Jones

My name is Laney Jones, and this is my first year as Media Coordinator for Southwest High. I have been working for Onslow County Schools for almost 10 years, beginning as an assistant in the library and third grade. After I attained a Bachelor's degree in Elementary education, I taught third grade for eight years. Since then, I completed dual Masters in Library Science and Information Technology from ECU. I began my Media career in the elementary setting, but I wanted to be able to help and encourage more students with technology. By the end of the year, my plan for you is to find joy in reading and understanding how to research credible sources.
