Mrs. Breanna Dickerson

Welcome to Mrs. Dickerson's 2nd Grade Classroom! 

I am so excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year! We have so many fun things planned and I can't wait to get to know each and every one of my students! 

Born and raised in Georgia, I attended college at the University of West Georgia where I majored in Early Childhood Education. I taught in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade during my time there. After college, I taught Pre-K for many years before moving to North Carolina with my husband, Casey, and our Teacup Yorkie, Ella. We enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling and watching football. Go Dawgs! 

In March of 2017, I joined the Morton Mustang family and it felt like home the moment I walked in the door! As we begin this year, it will begin my 12th year of experience in the classroom! I was honored to receive Global Teacher of the Year for the 2017-2018 & 2018-2019 school years, Literacy Teacher of the Year for the 2021-2022 school year, and am continuing to serve as the Grade Chair for 2nd Grade. I can't wait to help your child grow to their fullest potential this year!
