I earned my degree at Western Carolina University in 2008, go Catamounts!!!  Although I grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the beach is where I decided to make my home.  This is my seventh year teaching in EC at Morton Elementary.  I have been a part of several trainings with UNC Chapel Hill's TEACCH program and have implemented many of their recommended systems.  These systems have been proven to build independence, practice mastery of skills, and continue their growth.  I also mentor beginning teachers.  I continue to be a part of the Strategic Leadership Team as the EC representative and I am very excited to help our school continue to move forward to achieving our goals.
