My name is Mrs. Holley Waddell and I am the Art Teacher at Morton Elementary School.
I started teaching here in August 2013.
Here's a little about me!
- I graduated high school from Swansboro High... Go Pirates!
- I have a Bachelors in Art Education, certified K-12 from Appalachian State University... Go Mountaineers!
- I am a Teaching Fellow.
- I taught High School Visual Arts for 6 years in Johnston County before coming here.
- I have taught at Morton Elementary for 8 years.
- I have a little boy named Colby and a little girl named Amelia.
- I have Golden Retriever named Pearl.
- I have a terrible sweet tooth and could eat pizza for every meal!
- I really enjoy drawing and getting super crafty.
I am... the wife of my high school sweet heart, the daughter of my heroes, stuck in the middle of the best sisterhood trio EVER, a teacher of creativity, a mother of two amazing kiddos, and in lifelong friendships with truly beautiful people… I am blessed!
