Mrs. Melissa Cienkowski

Hello All, Welcome to 6th Grade ELA!

My name is Mrs. Cienkowski, though my students call me Ms. C. I am originally from New Jersey. The Marine Corps brought us to North Carolina for the first time over 10 years ago and though my husband has now retired, we have made our home here in North Carolina!

I have many different levels of experience in the classroom, all have helped shape me into the teacher that I am today. 

In my classroom, I anticipate raising the bar for our students. In our classroom, everyone will be welcome and comfortable. I will ensure to maintain a positive workspace where each student will feel free to express themselves and, above all, find their love for ELA!
