Mrs. Amanda Wohlers

Hello friends! My name is Amanda Wohlers. I was born and raised in Westminster, CO and moved to Jacksonville in 2008.  I am currently married to my husband and, together, within our blended family we have 9 children (2 boys and 7 girls). My stepsons live with us and my stepdaughters live in GA.

I am beginning my 6th year here at SSES, but this is my first year not being part of the Preschool program. I have been a part of early childhood since I graduated from high school. Before working with OCS, I worked at MCCS for 10yrs at the child development centers on base. I have recently become part of the ECU Alumni family when I graduated with my bachelor's degree in May 2023.

My 4 girls and stepsons all attend Onslow County Schools, and they are all competitive cheerleaders. We spend a lot of time at the gym for cheer and tumbling, but in my free time I enjoy making shirts and decals. Our family is very active within our church, Agape Life Family Church in Richlands, and I help teach Children's Church.
