Emily Genevish

Hello!

I am a second year teacher with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Digital Design. My family and I have travelled and lived all over the U.S. and even Japan, following my husband's career in the Marine Corps. Nearing his retirement, and not moving any longer, I wanted to finally pursue teaching as a career, after spending over 15 years as a Graphic Designer. I have always enjoyed making art, ever since a young age, making fun cartoon characters for my friends in middle school!

My oldest child attends MICA (Maryland Institute of College of Art), my second- oldest attends Jacksonville High and my youngest is a 3rd grader. We have a plethora of pets, including two dogs, a fat orange cat, a leopard gecko, and a few fish! I am looking forward to my second year teaching your children art and hopefully sparking creativity for them for years to come!
