Welcome to our classroom page!

I am incredibly excited about being your child’s teacher this year. This is my second year at Southwest Elementary and my first year as a full-time teacher. I am originally from California; however, Onslow County has been my home for the past 10 years.

I am a proud graduate of Liberty University where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Military History. I have a passion for teaching while helping children reach their fullest potential. I believe in a calm, nurturing, and fun environment where kids can grow and learn, while in a safe space to express themselves as individuals.

I have been married to my husband Jereme, who is an active-duty Marine, for 14 years. Together we have 5 children, 2 dogs (Lola & Dolly), and a bearded dragon (Rango). I enjoy anything history, especially with an emphasis on the Civil War. I love traveling to historical places around North Carolina. When I am not in the classroom teaching, I enjoy going to the beach with my family and eating Mexican food!
