!Hola a todos!

My name is Jessica Devia and I am a DLI Teacher. I am from Bogotá, Colombia. I have a bachelor's degree in modern languages and sociology from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a course of study in Teaching Spanish as a second Language from Universidad del Externado both universities located in Colombia.

I love cats, dancing, traveling, working out and...... dancing.   

I have been teaching English, Spanish and French for about 8 years in Colombia. This is my second year at Onslow county and I am so excited about starting this amazing adventure of teaching Spanish to first graders. I love teaching languages because it gives us the opportunity to learn different cultures and new ways to see the world as a global citizen. 

I am so eager to begin this school year. It will be full of new experiences and so much knowledge.
