My name is Chloe Givens, and I am proud to be a part of the Knight family!!  I am from Atlanta, GA and received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Campbell University. This will be my first year at Jacksonville Commons Middle School. I began to work with children at the Child Development Center aboard Camp Lejeune and Camp Pendleton. Working in Early Child Care gave me the opportunity to work with a diverse group of children and provided me with the skills required to align with children from different social environments. In addition, I excelled in my position as a Lead Teacher and Assistant Trainer, by creating innovative ways to incorporate learning in the classroom. While teaching, I excelled in parent involvement, creative lesson planning, and managing challenging behaviors.  

I have a true passion for working with our young learners!  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. 

Personally, I have been married for 13 glorious years and have two fantastic children who are 10 and 2 years old.  We love to travel and create new experiences! I also enjoy reading, cooking, music, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
