Mrs. Cassandra Leane Honker

Welcome to my Teacher page!! My name is Cassandra Honaker, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to educate and inspire young minds! I have been here at JCE two years now. I am dedicated to creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters a love for learning and personal growth. 

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, from Grand Canyon University. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed and thrive academically, socially and emotionally. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a safe and inclusive classroom where students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to take risks. I strive to provide differentiated instruction that meets the needs of the individual needs of each student, while promoting critical thinking, creativity and independent learning. 

I am committed to continuous professional growth and staying updated with the latest trends and research in education. I strive to find different ways to connect with students in a way that interests them. I believe reading is the key to knowledge and strive to ensure that each student is given the same opportunity to learn to read. 

I love to read and I want to share that with all of my students. I love Harry Potter, Books and Music. When I am not at school I spend time with my three children, working in my garden or cooking amongst my many other hobbies. :) Thank you for taking the time to visit my teacher's page!
