Mrs. Lorri DeValois
Hi, there! My name is Lorri DeValois and I am so excited for you to be part of TEAM DEVALOIS! We are going to have a wonderful time learning, leading, and growing together this year.
This year will be my 11th year teaching. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education (Pre K-6), an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, and I am currently completing my doctorate in Supervision and Administration. I have taught 5th grade, 1st grade, and 2nd grade, and have provided emotional and behavioral support services to 3rd and and 4th graders.
My family is a military family, and we have lived in 29 Palms, CA (twice!), Fort Walton Beach, FL, Stafford, VA, Okinawa, Japan, and finally, Holly Ridge, NC. I have two daughters-Paisley (10th grade) and Piper (6th grade) who also attend Dixon schools!
I believe that the BEST way to acheive academic success is to build strong, loving, relationships and work hard and practice everyday! We will work hard and love hard everyday this year!
