Mrs. Kimberly Frazier

Teaching is my third career, my heart, and my passion.  I began as a firefighter/paramedic in a suburb of Chicago. Then I started a family and decided to go to college.  I attended Wayne Community College where I took all the math and science classes they had to offer. I was also a tutor in their Academics Skills Department.  Shortly after that, I became a law enforcement officer, which I greatly enjoyed.  I then returned to college, completed my undergraduate degree in Middle Grades Education; math and science.  After graduating from East Carolina University, I began working for Wayne County School District and was the Beginning Teacher of the year in 2018.  During my time with WCPS, I also completed my graduate degree in Instruction and Curriculum, concentration in STEM.  This is my 7th year teaching and my first year with Onslow County.  I am married and have three children; Mikaela and husband Joe (USMC), Max (US Army), and Izabelle.  My hobbies include fishing, kayaking, and I am very involved with my church.  I look forward to an incredible school year!!!
