Mrs. Laura Samuel

Hello Everyone,

I am not actually from North Carolina, but I got here as soon as I could :)  I have spent the last six years in Jacksonville, but prior to calling this place my home, I lived in Ocean County, New Jersey.  I have been married for 31 years to my husband, Ron.  Together we have two adult children.  Our son, Andrew serves in the Marine Corp.  He is married to my daughter-in-law, Vicki and they have two amazing children: Aspen & Lincoln (who happen to be the loves of my life). Our daughter, Brittani currently attends Strayer University in the hopes of becoming a crime scene investigator. Brittani and her fiance' are the proud parents of a new bundle of joy! His name is Kain (who is also the love of my life). We have two dogs:  Harley, the Morkshire, and Chewy, our mixed puppy.  We also have a ridiculous amount of fish!

This is my 21st year teaching in elementary school.  Throughout my career, I have taught a variety of different grade levels as well as held different positions, but my favorite place to be is in the classroom with the littles. 

I am looking forward to an amazing year.  I know that if we work together, we can accomplish anything!
