Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Darla Daniels

My name is Darla Daniels, and I am proud to be a Northside High Monarch!!  I recently moved to Jacksonville this past July from Canton, Missouri.  I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the Culver-Stockton College, and my Master’s in Educational Administration from William Woods University.  I am certified to teach Elementary Education as well as K-12 Exceptional Child. This will be my fourteenth year of teaching.

I have a true passion for working with our high school student’s!!  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development be it, academic, social, or transitioning post high school. I strive to create positive relationships with student’s that will encourage them to become best version of themselves whether it be in the workforce, trade school, or college.

Personally, I have 2 children ages 27 and 22. My daughter is an art teacher at Dixon Elementary School, and we made the move to Jacksonville together! My son is a current graduate student at University of Kansas Medical Center and is pursuing a doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. I am also a proud dog mom and dog grandma to three very spoiled Labrador Retriever’s. Their names are Katie, Duck, and Oakley. They love their new home and walking on the beach!

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, home DIY projects, and traveling.

Thank you for taking the time getting to know me and reading my biography, I look forward to working together with you and your child to make their high school experience a successful one!
