Hello!

Welcome to First Grade at Swansboro Elementary School, my name is Mrs. Fish. I am so excited about working with you this year! 

A little about me, I am a true “Carolina Girl” I attained my bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) and went on to complete my Master’s Degree at Grand Canyon University. I have lived in North Carolina my entire life; however I have traveled around a bit thanks to the Marine Corps. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Roy, for 23 years and we share a very energetic outgoing 11 year old daughter, Jillian. 

This is my 15th year teaching, 8th year teaching 1st grade (my favorite) and 7 years prior teaching Kindergarten. My goal as a teacher is to foster a love of reading for each of my students. I am a huge avdocate for Class Dojo and my goal for the parents of my students is to keep the communication lines open. I look forward to getting to know you and grow with you this school year.
