This is my eighth year teaching at Stateside Elementary. I am originally from Syracuse, New York. I graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with an undergraduate degree in Childhood and Special Education, and then I continued on to earn a graduate degree in Literacy. I moved to North Carolina after graduation to escape those snowy Northern winters and to be closer to my favorite place - the beach! I was an EC Resource teacher for my first year of teaching, followed by five years of teaching First Grade - I am thrilled to be teaching my second year in Fourth Grade ELA and Social Studies!
