Ms. Paula Forrester

I am super excited to continue to teach kindergarten at Onslow Virtual Elementary School!  I moved to Onslow county in 1992 with my husband who was in the USMC.  I graduated from UNCW in 1997.  I majored in elementary education with a minor in psychology.  This is my 26th year teaching in Onslow county.  I've taught kindergarten for 20 years.  I also taught first grade for 2 years, and second grade for 4 years. I began my career at Thompson Elementary.  When Thompson Elementary became a preschool, I moved to Jacksonville Commons Elementary and taught there for 10 years.  I then spent the next 4 years teaching kindergarten at Southwest Elementary.  I transfered to OVES in 2020 and have been here since!  I have one son and several fur babies.  I look forward to teaching your child this year!
