COLT CALL 6/12/20
Good Afternoon Parents, students, and staff,
This is Joycelyn Cassidy, Principal of SWMS, with your final Colt Call for the 2019-2020 school year.
Report cards are ready for pickup beginning tomorrow, June 12. Please come by the office between 8-3:30. In addition, if you have not been able to return your school issued device, charger and materials, you can still do so during that time. It is very important that any school owned items be returned to prevent a charge on the students account that will follow them from year to year. Letters were mailed home with the list of items that have been checked out in your child’s name. We still have personal items that need to be retrieved also. Please call the office to check before coming out. This will decrease the wait time. Any item not picked up by July 15 will be discarded.
Parents as we prepare to close out, we just want to make sure the mailing address in our PS system is correct. We have several cards and letters that have been returned due to an incorrect address. It is important that we have the correct address for mailing out important information.
Yearbooks are still available for purchase online or in the office from 8-2:30. Purchases can be made with check, money order or cash for the exact amount of $30.00. They are scheduled to be in by the end of June. Once yearbooks are received, we will notify parents and students of their arrival.
Even though the schoolyear ended without the opportunity to say goodbye, the administration and staff of SWM wishes everyone a safe, fun and great summer. Please remember to be safe over the next few weeks. If you are a student that is moving to the next level or for what ever reason, not returning to SWM, I hope you think of us and your friends fondly. If you are returning to SWM, we are so looking forward to starting 2020-2021 with you. The summer is a time to reflect and set new goals as you meet new challenges on your journey through middle school. I want to thank everyone for their hard work and support of SWM.
This ends our Colt Call for this week and the 2019-20 school year.
Enjoy the rest of your summer, goodbye!
