  • Update 3/19/20  2:45pm

    Dear Parents/Guardians,

Second grade teachers have completed putting together next week’s work packet for their students. You may come to the school to pick up the packet between either of the following times:

    Friday, March 20, 2020 from 9:00-11:00 am

    Monday, March 23, 2020 from 8:00-10:00 am

We will be waiting near the entrance of the school during these times, so you will not need to come into the building. Please also remember to check the website daily for updates and information. Thank you for your patience and support!

  • Dear Families,

I hope this email finds you well and that everyone in your home is safe and healthy. I am reaching out to provide you with information and help explain how the next couple of weeks are going to go. I will be posting updates to our QCE website through my teacher webpage.

Please go to https://www.onslow.k12.nc.us/queenscreekes, click on the Teacher tab, then click on my name. All updates will be posted on the “Class News” tab. I will upload videos, resources, assignments, etc. when necessary—so please check daily for any changes. For this week, 2nd Grade teachers are asking you to work with your children on the packet of work that was sent home. We planned for about 2 weeks to complete.

Also, we strongly recommend that your child access iReady Math and iReady Reading programs. The sheet for logging in was sent home in October. Don’t worry, if it is not in your child’s binder or at your house, please email me and I will respond with the username and password.

Next week may be a little different with small video lessons and assignments posted to the webpage. We will reach out to you with more information as it comes to us. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work through this difficult time. I know that with your involvement at home, we can work together in helping your child continue his/her learning.

    Thank you for your support!

    Ms. Webb
