Alight Candle Company
Dixon Adaptive class specializes in making soy wax candles infused with essential oils. Soy is made from vegetables and burns at a slower rate. They are eco-friendly and cause fewer allergens, less soot, and faster perfuming of your room. The candles are completely crafted by the students. This year, the students chose the scents to be Peppermint, Lemon, Jasmine, and Lavender. The School-Based Enterprise allows our students to make a direct link between classroom learning and the world of work. The students participate in a winter and spring craft fair, where the students sell their candles with the help of digital devices and communication boards.
