Ms. Katie Bollinger

I am Katie Bollinger and this is year 19 teaching middle school.  I have taught all 3 grades in middle school in the subjects of Social Studies, Science, ELA, and Exception Children in 3 different NC school systems.  Social studies is by far my favorite subject to teach.  I left Onslow County schools 15 years ago but chose to return to be closer to the beach. 

I have my Bachelor's degree from Millersville University in Social Studies Seconday Education and my Master's degree from American Military Univeristy in American History.  My favorite topic in Social Studies is the American Civil War, as I was once a park ranger at Gettysburg NMP.  

I spend my free time with my dog Sandy and cat Maverick.  I am a huge Philadelphia Philles, Carolina Hurricanes, and Carolina Panthers fan.  I like to coach track and swimming, and will be coaching track this year at Hunters Creek.
