Scholarships for Military Children: This program was created by the Defense Commissary Agency to recognize the contributions of military families to the readiness of the fighting force and to celebrate the role of the commissary in the military family community. General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program : $500 - $4000 grants to selected sons and daughters of active duty, Title 10 AGR/Reserve, Title 32 AGR performing full-time active duty, retired, retired reserve and deceased Air Force members for their undergraduate studies.

Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund: For dependent child of an active duty service member who was killed or permanently disabled (100% rating) as the result of an operational mission or training accident, or who is currently certified as POW or MIA. The applicant must also be a senior in high school, a high school graduate, or enrolled in an institution of higher learning, including colleges, universities, or vocational schools.

Post-9/11 GI Bill: Post-9/11 GI Bill went into effect August 1, 2011. Education benefits include: certain National Guard members who were mobilized will now be eligible; up to 100% tuition & fee coverage; monthly living/housing stipend; up to $1000 per year for books/supplies; one-time relocation allowance; and the option to transfer benefits to family members.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation: For children of US Marine or Navy active duty, reserve, received an honorable discharge/medical discharge, or killed while serving in the Corps. The annual deadline is around March 1.
