I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada many many years ago!  I lived there until sixteen years ago when my family decided to move here for a change of pace.  This is my 29th year of teaching.  I have taught third, fourth, fifth, sixth and college.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Social Studies in Elementary School Education.    I also am a National Board Certified Teacher.

I have been married for 26 years and I have a daughter who has graduated from UNCW Honors College.  I moved from a large city out to a farm in the country.   I have chickens, cats, and one dog.  My life is completely different here, and I am loving it!!!
