Ms. Jessica Moore

Hello Everyone! My name is Jessica Moore and I am extremely excited to begin this new year with you. Though this will be my first year at JCMS as a teacher, I am not new to the school or community. I grew up in Jacksonville and attended JCMS in my youth. My goal in rejoining the Knights is to give back to the community that poured so much into me by empowering students to take actionable steps now for successful futures. 

As a young learner, I attended all three home schools in the Jacksonville Commons area. I went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I obtained a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Linguistics. From there, I attended Western Carolina University, studying School Psychology. Eventually, I took a turn into teaching and I have not looked back. I am happy to be starting my third year as a public school teacher at JCMS.
