Ms. Emily Vaughan

I am very excited about being at JCE for my second year teaching music. I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, where I worked as a swim instructor for children aged 3-15 for eleven consecutive summers. During my time at Shenandoah Conservatory, I was a member of two choirs and travelled to Salzburg, Austria to perform with the all-women's choir. I also completed a full senior recital with repertoire in various languages including French, German, and Italian. I enjoy playing the ukulele and the piano and am learning to play the guitar.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy kickboxing, swimming, golf, and travelling. This year, I cannot wait to make music and have fun with all of the kids at JCE!
